Reminder - 08/17/2018 Scheduled Water Outage for Picacho Hills

Residents will experience a water outage, possible low water pressure, and discolored water from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm Friday, August 17, 2018, while our contractor continues to transfer existing water lines to the new water line as part of the Via Norte Project. This outage should only affect homes on the following streets:
- Camino Blanco
- Camino Nuevo Mejico
- City Lights Place
- Alhambra Court
Affected residents may notice discolored water due to iron and manganese. Although the water is safe to drink, Association staff recommend waiting for water lines to clear before washing laundry.
The discoloration should disappear within 24-hours. If it does not, residents should flush outside faucets or cold-water faucets for five minutes. If the discoloration remains, call the Association at (575)526-3491 for assistance.
